System improvements, upgrades and projects

We are continuously working to maintain and improve the water system.  Some of the major projects we are currently working on involve the installation of new, or the replacement of existing, equipment and facilities needed to provide safe, reliable water service.

Infrastructure Projects

Main Replacement in Bridgeport, CT: Johnson Street and Pearsall Place

We will be replacing 2,200 feet of main beginning in May 2023. Due to construction, customers should expect minor traffic delays and possible detours during the working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work is expected to be completed by the end of summer 2023. Final paving will be scheduled in coordination with the City of Bridgeport, CT.
